When a group of Northamptonshire business people got together for a chat over a coffee at one of their regular breakfast meetings at the Bull Inn, Olney, earlier this year, they simply could not have imagined that their initial chat about raising a few pounds for Help for Heroes and other good causes would snowball to culminate in Northamptonshire’s Society Event of the year, the Armed Forces Ball this October.
Following our spectacularly successful Zumba in April, we've been inundated with requests to organise another Zumbathon!
Welcome to Shire Heroes
Shire Heroes is raising money for Help 4 Heroes, Royal British Legion and Veteran's Aid, and The Soldiers' Charity. We are totally committed as a group and have called ourselves "Shire Heroes" to draw attention to, and recognise, the proud sacrifice and commitment of all our serving soldiers across Northamptonshire and beyond. These are this country's true heroes.

Our aim is to raise £25,000 with Pledges for things "that money can't buy", culminating in an Armed Forces Ball to be held at THE PARK INN HOTEL, NORTHAMPTON on Saturday 13th October. Tickets are £50 each and there will be an Open auction and a fantastic raffle on the night.
This year, we've really got something special for you! We'll be kicking off with a welcome reception, 5 course meal, live auction and then some serious 'getting down' on the dance floor to the most fabulous Ministry of Soul - a 10 piece soul band that you'll be thrilled with. There's a disco as well and bacon butties at 1am.

Can you help?
Please pledge all you can and dig deep among your friends, clients and networking groups. We know that times are tough and there are many pressing calls on our money, however, this is for 4 fantastic causes as the proceeds will be distributed among Help 4 Heroes, Veteran's Aid, The Royal British Legion & the Soldiers Charity.
We are also looking for help from the tremendous Young Heroes of Northamptonshire. If you are aged between 10-16 years, you can help too.
